What animals deserve: the total abolition of their use

Campaigning for more room for animals in farms, for anaesthetics to be used in labs, for adequate stunning on the killing line and the like won’t do anything but to guarantee that animals continue to be killed and exploited for the foreseeable future. We’re facing a long struggle before we see an end to animal utilisation; let’s not rush into embracing short term (although emotionally fulfilling) campaigns, which will, in the end, do more harm than good. Let’s fight for what animals deserve: the total abolition of their use, real consideration for their lives and liberty, and treatment as equals, not slaves.
