All you're really doing is telling people that it's acceptable to take ownership of another living being

The “very least” you can do is go vegan, and promote veganism to every single person you encounter. Welfare reforms might help you sleep at night, but they don’t help those animals, and all you’re really doing is telling people that it’s acceptable to take ownership of another living being, and turn it into a slave, as long as we treat it nice.
