We can—and should—present veganism as the FIRST step toward respecting nonhuman animals

[B]aby steps are for babies. Let’s treat people like adults. Let’s speak to their highest potential. Let’s generously provide them the information and guidance they need to go vegan. Let’s be honest about our moral obligations to nonhuman animals. And let’s be unequivocal in advocating veganism as the moral baseline of respecting the rights of nonhuman animals. We can—and should—present veganism as the FIRST step toward respecting nonhuman animals.
